🎬 Lights, Camera, Paris! 🇫🇷✨

paris 1From 5th–8th February, our Media & Film students swapped the classroom for the creative capital of Europe with an unforgettable educational field trip to Paris — and what a trip it was!

The group spent a full day at Disney exploring media synergy in action — seeing first-hand how film, branding, merchandising and storytelling combine across platforms to build global entertainment experiences. A powerful insight into how today’s media industry connects creativity with commercial strategy.

They also visited the Musée Méliès, diving into the origins of cinema and the pioneering work of early filmmaker Georges Méliès. Students explored the evolution of special effects, visual storytelling and film innovation — gaining a deeper understanding of how modern cinema techniques are rooted in early experimentation and imagination.
And to top it off, students stepped into the spotlight at the iconic Le Grand Rex Cinema, where they experienced what it feels like to be on the big screen themselves. Beyond the fun, this visit highlighted cinema architecture, sound design, audience engagement and the technical craft behind theatrical film exhibition.

An inspiring blend of history, industry insight and hands-on experience, giving our students a real-world perspective on how film and media continue to evolve — and where their own creative journeys could lead next. 🎥🌟
