Woking College DofE Students Raise over £740

Woking College Duke of Edinburgh students and staff met with Rhona Byrne, Community Fundraiser at Woking and Sam Beare Hospices, to present a cheque for £740.05, following a successful sponsored walk from Shoreham-By-Sea to Guildford in May. Award Manager, Arran Holcombe, said that, “The event was a huge success, strengthening the community of the college and allowing students to prepare for long walks on Gold expeditions, whilst raising money for an excellent local cause.”
