Higher Education Success 
The majority of Woking College students progress to Higher Education, with around 80% securing their first-choice university. 

Alternative Pathways 
Approximately 20% choose apprenticeships or employment, and interest in Higher and Degree Apprenticeships has grown significantly in recent years. Some students even take a gap year to explore options and complete the rigorous application process. 

Foundation Students 
Around 90% of our Foundation students continue their studies, most of them right here at Woking College.

Our students are accepted at leading universities across the UK. Popular Russell Group choices include Southampton, Exeter, and Bristol, while Surrey and Kingston remain the most common local destinations.

• University of Surrey: A nationally respected, career focused university, consistently placed in the UK Top 20–30 and ranked within the top 200-300 globally.
