Digital Music Production

Level 3 Vocational (Equivalent to 1 A Level)

This course will give you the knowledge, understanding and skills to prepare for apprenticeships or higher education in Music Technology and the wider music industry. The content has been developed in consultation with employers and professional bodies to ensure that it is appropriate for those interested in working in the sector. In addition, higher education representatives have been involved to ensure that it fully supports entry to the relevant range of specialist degrees. You will learn how to use music software and hardware to produce work in various musical contexts.

What skills will I develop?

You will develop a wide range of subject-specific skills including Synthesis and Sampling, Mixing and Mastering, Midi Programming, Composing to picture and many more. 

You will also develop research and presentation skills.

Where does the course lead?
