Last night (21-01-25) , as part of our Enrichment activities, our Year 12 and 13 A-Level Drama and Theatre Studies students went to see War Horse. Over 80 students went and had a fab time.

Nine Year 13 students took the British Physics Olympiad Round 1 last term. They achieved a Commendation, 3 Bronze 2, 2 Bronze 1, 2 Silver and Peter Heeney got the Top Gold award. 8000 took part, 1/2 UK, 1/2 China. Top Gold goes to the top 4.3%. Peter will now compete in round 2 in […]

Today we have the Music Tech students working on sound recordings for their elected film pieces. As Foley Artists they are creating the audio they need that they can’t record on location e.g. horses walking in a field. This is recorded, edited and mixed into their Logic projects.

Year 12 A-level geography students recently visited Brick Lane and Queen Mary. After a tour of Queen Mary, they attended a lecture on ‘Hipsterfiction’ by Professor Alastair Owens. They then explored Brick Lane to investigate the extent to which it has been ‘hipsterfied’.

Congratulations to our student Tom Dryer (A-Level PE) on his debut appearance for Woking FC seniors last night with a victory in the National League Cup against Derby in the U21s. Tom is a member of the Woking FC Academy based at Woking College.
