Our warm-hearted Vocational Business students became bakers for the day when they ran a hugely popular lunchtime Cake Bake Sale in aid of Woking Hospice. Over £140 was raised with students and teachers enjoying a huge selection of sweet treats. Well done star bakers!

Congratulations to our super-talented physics student, Peter Heeney, who received a Gold Award in the recent British Physics Olympiad. Peter achieved one of the highest marks in the country and was invited to receive his award at the prestigious British Physics Olympiad Annual Awards at The Royal Society.

To help the students, before their exams, Abbie Chadd from A Level Revision UK ran a one-day revision conference with Year 13 A-Level PE Students. They covered elements of Papers 1, 2 & 3 throughout the day whilst applying theoretical content using past paper questions to develop exam technique.        

This week we had our own Dragons Den. Top entrepreneurs and business people from around the area came to judge our student’s innovative business plans. Students presented their ideas to win investment. A huge thanks to all the Dragons for giving up their time and sharing their knowledge and experience.        

We are very proud of our 2024 theatre company. Our production of Woyzeck won Second place and Backstage award at The Maidenhead Drama Festival. We’re looking forward to getting back into rehearsals for the Summer Showcase later in the year.

Our Dance and Music students had a lovely evening at the theatre watching the English National Ballet’s performance of Johan Inger’s Carmen before the Easter holidays. A lovely way to end the term and a great opportunity for them to make connections between dance and music composition!
