Principal Brett Freeman remarked

“We are immensely proud of every single student and of every member of staff – from classroom teachers and learning support assistants, to pastoral mentors, technicians, administrative teams, site staff and everyone who plays a role in making Woking College such a supportive and inspiring place to learn.

Those who know Woking College understand that our students’ successes are about grades and so much more. Our mission is to open doors – to expand life chances, broaden life choices and give every student the confidence to seize opportunities. This year’s achievements are the result of a thriving community built on mutual support, ambition and resilience.

Alongside their academic studies, our students have embraced an exceptional range of enrichment and extracurricular opportunities – from performing arts, sport and debating, to volunteering, leadership programmes, and environmental and citizenship initiatives. These experiences have shaped confident, well-rounded young people who stand out in the very crowded field of A Level and BTEC graduates.

Most of our leavers will now be heading to universities across the country, embarking on apprenticeships, or stepping straight into employment. Whatever their next step, they do so equipped not only with superb qualifications, but also with the skills, mindset and determination to flourish in higher education and in the world of work.

Today, we celebrate academic excellence – but even more, we celebrate the people our students have become, and the community that has supported them every step of the way.”
