Personal Tutors

When you enrol at Woking College you will be allocated a specialist personal tutor. They provide a comprehensive induction to help you in your transition from school to college Students meet with their tutor every week to keep students up to date on key news and opportunities in College.

Personal tutors also meet students on a one to one basis to set targets and review their progress. Personal tutors are also key in guiding students to their decisions about what next after College assisting with applications to university, apprenticeships or employment.

Early in the first term parents are invited to meet personal tutors and are actively encouraged to get in touch with any questions or concerns.

Our highly experienced Heads of Year are here if students have more complex issues, offering safe and non-judgemental support and advice

Chaplaincy

Working closely with religious organisations in the local community, Youth Workers are available in College to mentor and support all students from all faith backgrounds.

Financial Support

The College is able to offer financial assistance in the form of bursaries to help students with the direct costs of study, such as transport, books and equipment. In addition, the College is able to offer free lunches to qualifying students. Click HERE for how to apply for a bursary.
