Nine Year 13 students took the British Physics Olympiad Round 1 last term. They achieved a Commendation, 3 Bronze 2, 2 Bronze 1, 2 Silver and Peter Heeney got the Top Gold award. 8000 took part, 1/2 UK, 1/2 China. Top Gold goes to the top 4.3%. Peter will now compete in round 2 in Feb for a place in the UK Team.
