🌟 Physics in Action! 🌟
Woking College student Sam Wilford, a member of our STEM Excellence Programme and an aspiring Physics undergraduate, was invited to take part in a special seminar and round table discussion with Professor Brian Cox CBE FRS at Brooklands Museum last week.
Sam represented the College brilliantly, being the first to ask a question, wanting to know which Physics experiment Brian would choose to do if he could do any at all.
Brian’s answer? He’d love to run an experiment on detecting gravitational waves — a fitting choice for one of the world’s leading science communicators!
The event, part of the Brooklands Innovation Academy Live, brought together top STEM students from across Surrey and beyond for inspiring talks and hands-on workshops with leading employers and scientists.
