From Volcanoes to Coastlines: Geography Comes to Life in Sorrento

Our Year 13 A Level Geography students have just returned from an incredible trip to Sorrento, where classroom learning met real-world experience.

From standing on the edge of Mount Vesuvius to exploring the remarkably preserved remains of Pompeii, students saw first-hand the impact of volcanic activity and its lasting effects.

The group also travelled to Capri to study dramatic coastal landscapes, before getting stuck into Italian culture with an authentic pizza-making experience.

A brilliant mix of fieldwork, culture and unforgettable moments — a trip that truly brought geography to life.
