As part of our Green Week activities, we were delighted to welcome several local organisations into the college canteen yesterday to speak directly with our students about sustainability, environmental action, and the role young people can play in shaping the future.
A huge thank you to the teams from Joint Waste Solutions, Woking Environmental Action (WeAct), and Woking Green Party for giving up their time to come in, set up information stands, and chat with students throughout the day.
It was fantastic to see so many thoughtful conversations taking place — with students asking questions, sharing ideas, and learning more about the work being done locally to protect our environment.
Opportunities like this help bring important issues to life and connect our students with the people and organisations working to make a difference in our community.
