Woking College Theatre Company have for the third year running won awards at two prestigious drama festivals.
Performing the production “Bed” by Jim Cartwright, students won an impressive six awards at the Elmbridge Drama Festival including Best Under 21 cast, Best Actress for Rachel Brabon and Best Directors for teachers Claire Nevers and Gina Marshall.
Continuing to the Maidenhead Festival the Company were declared Overall Festival Winners for the third year running qualifying them for the All England Theatre Festival semi-finals in May.
Claire Nevers, Head of performing Arts, commented: “I am always so proud of the amount of commitment and professionalism that students put into the production which is all done in their own time with the utmost talent. I am very proud of them all.”
