We’re proud to share that Woking College has been named as one of the top 10 colleges in the UK for delivering Carbon Literacy training in 2025.
Carbon Literacy is about understanding the carbon impact of everyday choices — and having the knowledge, confidence and motivation to take meaningful climate action at college, at work and in our wider communities. The Carbon Literacy Project describes it as helping individuals and organisations move from concern to coordinated action through practical climate education.
At Woking College, we are committed to helping students and staff understand the importance of sustainability, environmental responsibility and the role we can all play in building a lower-carbon future.
