The Addams Family Musical a spooky sell out!
Everyone’s favourite kooky family set foot upon The Beldam Theatre’s stage, as Woking College presented the spectacular new Musical; The Addams Family to packed out houses.
Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, is all grown up and has a shocking secret that only Gomez knows. She’s fallen in love with a sweet young man from a respectable family. With his cherished Morticia in the dark will Gomez manage to keep his daughter’s secret until the two families meet for a fateful dinner with hilarious consequences?
Joined by Grandma, Uncle Fester, Lurch, Pugsley and their meddling ancestors for a heart-warming story of love, family and friendship… with a twist!
The cast of 30 actors and dancers, from across the college, put the show together in just 12 weeks. Directed by Claire Nevers, Head of Performing Arts with musical direction by Nathan Lubbock-Smith and Anna Power and choreography by Millie Collyer.
Year 13 student Shona Fernie, who plays Morticia Addams, said “ It’s been really lovely working on this show, all the tutors have made it a super enjoyable process and it’s been great to collaborate with the whole company and make brilliant memories.”
